Room 10

We had a fantastic garden to table session. The garden team were able to harvest vegetables for the first time. They harvested spinach, silverbeet and cabbage. The students were very excited to take the vegetable to the kitchen team.

The kitchen team used the cabbage to prepare a coleslaw. The silverbeet and spinach was used to make a delicious crustless silverbeet, spinach and cheese quiche. We harvested feijoas a couple of weeks ago and froze them, and today we used it to make mini feijoa muffins.

Room 10 and 13 are part of Garden to table programme for 2018. They will keep us posted on the recent learning they will do during the year.
